More about you:

Knowledge and Experience:

  • Experience gained at senior management level in an innovative and agile organisation, ideally with experience of working with a Chair and Board (or equivalent)
  • Experience of thriving in fast-paced and dynamic environment
  • Direct leadership of/involvement in developing strategy and leading successful organisational change
  • Exceptional people leadership skills
  • A demonstrable commitment to creating diverse and inclusive working cultures
  • Sound financial management experience with a firm understanding of risk and working with colleagues to manage and mitigate it
  • Strong awareness of and insight into the UK political context, with an understanding of UK society and culture and how it is evolving and insight as to how to influence policy-making
  • Demonstrable experience of leading social change / social impact work

Desirable:

  • Insight into the creation of successful campaigns
  • Experience of external communications and working with the media
  • Familiarity with new and innovative digital campaigning tools and approaches
  • Experience and knowledge around key 38 Degrees policy areas
  • Leadership experience in a supporter-based organisation
