With the Local Plan modifications now submitted to the Inspector and a number of early housing and industrial intensification schemes coming forward this is an exciting time for the committee.
The Local Plan sets the framework for creating a series of new neighbourhoods, both residential and industrial, and delivering 25,500 homes and an additional 250,000 sq.m. of industrial floorspace.
The committee will play an important role in the delivery of these neighbourhoods through considering the planning applications that come forward.
