Person Specification

We would like to diversify Board membership and would welcome applications from minority ethnic candidates.

The ideal candidate will bring:

  • Skills/experience relevant to Hightown’s work
  • senior or Board level experience in a medium or large-sized organisation (this could have been gained in an executive or non-executive capacity)
  • evidence of an interest in and commitment to Hightown’s activities and objectives.
  • the maturity, wisdom and insight to be able to make a significant contribution to all Board discussions including strategy, business development and risk.

We are particularly seeking applicants with skills/experience in one or more of the following areas:

  • Housing development;
  • Governance in organisations with charitable purpose/public benefit objectives;
  • HR/organisational development;
  • Marketing/communications
