How to Apply

APPLY HERE

  • We will assess your application solely on the basis of your responses to the following questions. Please keep them to no more than 250 words per answer.
  1. What attracts you to the mission and work of Hexagon?
  2. Tell us about the sector / company you work in, one of the main challenges it is currently facing and how you personally have contributed to transformation or innovation in the solution.
  3. How has your own background and upbringing influenced your approach to creating greater diversity in your workplace.
  4. Tell us about a time when you raised a challenge at work or on a Board (charity/not for profit or business related) and how you went about trying to convince your colleagues of your view.
  5. Hexagon is faced, along with other housing associations, with what one Board member has recently described as ‘a three into two won’t go’ situation: we must ensure that our residents are safe, we want to make as much as a contribution to making our estate net carbon zero as we can and we want to continue to develop new homes. All of these carry considerable costs. There is no right answer to this, but please tell us the way in which you as a Board Member would go about thinking through these challenges.

Please also submit a CV, however this will not be used as part of the assessment process or seen by the selection panel. It will only be used  in the process of carrying out due diligence on your application.

Candidates are invited to please complete a diversity monitoring form.

To apply for this role please submit your responses to the questions by Friday 11 June 2021 at midnight.
