About Us

Hexagon is an innovative and responsive Housing Association working in partnership with a range of local authorities to meet housing needs across South London. With a turnover of £37m and 137 staff, Hexagon is continually improving the quality and range of our affordable homes and services.

As an organisation, we are concerned with people, their homes and communities. We make good quality, affordable housing and services available to people in South London, and work to extend opportunities and improve the neighbourhoods they live in.

With over 4,300 homes for rent, we offer more housing choices in areas of high demand and are building new homes to meet local housing need. More than 300 vulnerable people use our specialist housing and one-to-one care and support services.

Like all housing associations, Hexagon is a not-for-profit organisation and is regulated by the Regulator of Social Housing (RSH).

Our most recent staff survey results (November 2019) were very positive, including:

  • An employee engagement index of 89%;
  • 92% of our employees are proud to work for Hexagon;

  • 96% are committed to Hexagon’s goals.

We have been recognised as an Investor in People since 1999 and were proud to achieve Investors in People Gold in 2015.

In June 2014 Hexagon won an ORC International award following excellent results from a recent staff survey. Staff responses saw Hexagon ranked “Number 1” to questions such as – I am proud to work for this organisation; I would recommend Hexagon as a good place to work; and I intend to still be working for Hexagon in 12 months’ time.

Each year, ORC International presents awards to the top 3 organisations who have achieved the best employee engagement scores in their benchmarking of 200 UK based organisations (covering all sectors), including 43 housing associations. Hexagon scored the highest overall ratings for ‘employee engagement’, making us ‘Number 1’ in the UK.
