Welcome

Thank you for your interest in OPDC and our Planning Committee.

OPDC has been established by the Mayor of London to secure the huge regeneration opportunities offered by the new High Speed 2 Old Oak Common transport interchange. Connecting HS2, the Great Western mainline and Crossrail, and with four other local Overground and Underground stations, Old Oak and Park Royal will become one of the best-connected locations in the UK. With extensive development sites close by, this provides an unrivalled opportunity to deliver a new and revitalised urban district in what will be one of the largest regeneration projects in London for decades.

Working with our three Boroughs, the GLA, local communities, government agencies, businesses and a wide range of development and investment partners, we are planning for 25,000 new homes and around three times that number of new jobs in a location that can achieve the promise of a place where everyone is able to flourish and thrive. Early development site are already underway, and with High Speed Two services terminating at Old Oak Common at the end of the decade, we are now accelerating our delivery plans, and our planning committee will play a key role in supporting this ambition.

Old Oak and Park Royal has some of the most diverse communities in the UK, and we are working to ensure that our organisation reflects this as closely as possible. We are therefore especially keen to hear from applicants whose lived experience and/or professional and voluntary work demonstrates a deep understanding of working in a multi-cultural, dynamic and diverse environment.

I hope you share our excitement for the changes that are coming to Old Oak and Park Royal, and find then information here helpful, but if you have any questions please do not hesitate to contact Green Park at OPDCPCM@green-park.co.uk.

We look forward to receiving your application.

Yours faithfully
