Thank you so much for showing an interest in joining the Board of Hexagon. We hope that if you are someone who can bring us experience of being part of a team that has driven successful innovation and transformation in a sector other than housing and if you can bring a personal perspective and presence from your cultural or ethnic background that will add to the differences around the Board table and further help us pursue diversity at Hexagon, you’ll get in touch.

Hexagon has two key aims: to maintain and manage to the highest quality our current 4000 homes for people in South London and in the future to make as large a contribution as we can by to providing more affordable homes in the five Boroughs in which we operate.

We are at a challenging time for housing associations. The number of those who cannot get decent housing in the market continues to rise. We are compensating for failures in regulation that have some to light after the fatal Grenfell fire, we are starting to map out a feasible route towards carbon net zero in our stock by 2050 and we are reorganising our borrowing to give us more capacity to develop for future residents. This is quite an agenda and we will need your help to think through with the other members of the Board what should be our priorities, our best strategic approaches, the best value and quality for residents and the right support and working environment for our staff. It is an exciting time, and we want to be ambitious.
