Experience, Knowledge and Understanding

  • Proven success in shaping strategy and delivering business change through the building of employee capability and embedding improvement activity across a complex environment. This should include developing and implementing creative people attraction, development, and engagement techniques – in particular, areas of scarce talent.
  • A strategic understanding of digital transformation and services in the context of improving customer journeys and simplifying processes.
  • Significant experience of leading cultural change including the ability to gain commitment, trust and support to deliver and build an inclusive and engaged community of colleagues.
  • Demonstrable commitment to and successful experience of creating and working with cognitively diverse teams.
  • Proven strategic and operational understanding of best practice across the full people/HR/OD life cycle, including talent acquisition, progressive HR policies, procedures, legal frameworks and best practice.
  • Solid experience of budget and supplier management.
  • Proven team leadership capability and experience.
